The protocol RS-485 works like the RS-232, just one diferents that have diferent levels of volts, it let you transmite more far thant RS-232.

If you want to transmit by RS-485 you have to by first one RS-232 (integrade) and RS-485 in the specification sheet you will find how to conect them.
