I'm gonna use I2C for accessing RTC DS1307
Does any one know how to init this device? Well, obviously, the manufacturer of the device knows! And they are kind enough to share this information with their customers (and potential customers) in the form of a document known as the Datasheet; further, they make this document freely available for anyone to download - at no charge - from their website. They are also kind enough to share additional useful information in the form of Application Notes - which give examples of using their products. In this case, the manufacturer in question is Maxim, and their website is http://www.maxim-ic.com Simply type the device's part number - DS1307 - into the 'Part No Search' box at the top-right of their site, and you will immediately be taken to a page giving direct access to all this information!
