#159492 - C8051F040 Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Silabs has two product lines (that I am aware of) the
C8051F04x with the 040 being a 100pin device and 8ports of I/O or the 041 being a 64Pin device having 4ports of I/O other variations in this series exist changing the amount of Flash and pins etc. The CAN controller is built into the device, it does run as a seperate device within the package, so you still have to know how to configure it with the C_CAN manual, to get it doing what you want. I use this device and it is quite a nice product. and the Devkits are well priced. They also have another series with a 5 in it, that I have not personally used or looked at. but would be interested in other peoples opinions Marshall |
