Used code developed for the AT89C4051
Reading the data sheet on the AT89LP4052 the clock timing is different. Reload value for 9,600 baud is actually #0DCH using timer 1 in mode 2. That got it receiving. Still have a problem because I need to RX 3 sets of two ASCII characters. Each set tells the MPU to do something different. RX of the 1st and 3rd works fine but the 2nd set seems to be getting dropped off somewhere. Think the 1st is taking to long to accomplish it's task and am missing the 2nd. Oh well more work for this old brain. |
