#152034 - Register addressing of i2c devices Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I must confess that it is Atmel AVR app notes hat I have read, rather than mcs51 versions.
Memory i2c devices access registers in different ways. The larger eeproms use a double byte. The smallest ones just need an 8 bit address so a single byte. So a 2416 requires different code to a 24512 eeprom. Your routines have to reflect this. Your example code does not seem to do anything much. Are you a single master that just has some slaves ?
