Hello,
I've downloaded the new firmware for P89V51RC2 from FM site. Before upgrading the firmware, I want to understand: In the P89V51RC2_V03_UPD_ISP.HEX file, we can see that the first instruction at address 0x0000 is: ljmp 0x2000. I do not understand why we jump to 0x2000 (user flash). I believed that the bootloader will stay in the 1st 8Ko from 0x0000 to 0x1FFF. Perhaps, is it due to the boot upgrade which must be done from the user flash ? Regards, Phil. |
