#148435 - Needs more work
Responding to: ???'s previous message

I try to use L298 but the movement is very slow.

What measurements did you take to determine why it was "very slow"?
You can't fix a problem before you have identified what the problem actually is!

How were you driving the L298? Show your schematic.

Relay driver is good to controlling that motor but unfortunately the microcontroller can't do it.

Why do you think not?
There are plenty of examples on this forum of driving relays with 8051s - do the 'Search'

Here is the schematic

So how is the 8051 connected to it?

could it be the transistor ?

More likely the way you're driving it - see Jan's reply, and previous discussion on driving relays with 8051s...

I have seen a relay driver motor posted by Klaas

So post a link to it and everyone can take a look!

could i use it?

I doubt that he would post something unusable - unless it was specifically given as an example of how not to do it...

Again, post a link to it so that people can see what you're talking about!

You should also search for relay drivers by Michael Karas...
