It would be nice to have this thing in the 8051 FAQ section
one of the ISR FAQs state "do not call functions from ISRs. A simple solution. Calling functions from ISRs can get you in many forms of trouble like the one you got into, another is when somebody call the same function from main and an ISR, another ... Sometimes a "do not" is better than a "be careful", at least it is simpler to follow (no care required) Erik |
