I also considered using more than 1 chip on same bus. Actually, I can connect two Atmel 24C1024 on same IIC bus. But my problem is that with max 1Mhz IIC bus speed the access time is not acceptable since I need to do some sequential search in data blocks.
Ofcourse 8 E2ROM chips cost a lot more than one 8-Mbit DataFlash. Am I correct? |
