#140484 - Register bank usage |
Hi, In assembly, bank allocation is defined by the programmer, I knew which register to save.
When creating a program in “C” (using interrupts),. Mangament is handled by the compiler. Several questions came to mind about register bank allocations. Should one declare which bank to be used or allow the compiler to make the choice? If a module is created by a third party, should a register bank be speicfied at the beginning for their usage ? Are there any other register bank issue’s to be aware of when developing new souse code (C) (thing’s not to do) ? spencer |
