... why not, if no other using of T2 was done. Its already on chip and no way to remove it. So its not a shame to use it. On using T1 the error was only 1.3%: 20e6 / 12 / 16 / 9600 = 10.6 -> use -11 as reload value 11 / 10.6 = 1.013 This is good enough, since errors until about 2.5% can be tolerated. On using T2 the error was only 0.2%: 20e6 / 2 / 16 / 9600 = 65.1 -> use -65 as reload value 65.1 / 65 = 1.0016 And this give definitive no other working, than a baud rate crystal. Peter |
