#130275 - ISP and IAP Understanding LPC925 Responding to: ???'s previous message |
My limited understanding is ... The LPC925 ISP bootloader which has entry at 0x1F00 calls the low level IAP routines... hence there may be no need to configure the IAP registers for IAP calls (as that's what the ISP bootloader does).
Reading through the LPC925 and LPC932a1 User Manuals.... when the bootloader is called, it executes an autobouad rate detect on serial characters comming from the UART Rx. The baud rate detect looks for 'U' character to set the baud rate. I understand that Flash Magic sends 'U' characters in the ISP mode. I am not sure why you can note read a signiature with Flash Magic once you call 0x1F00 once to invoke the bootloader. Perphas a specific question on the Flash Magic forum OR your local NXP Applications Engineering support in NZ or Aus might be able to point you to why the correct signiature is not being read. Joe. |
