You may use what is called 'bdata' (in the Keil
C51 compiler). Those bdata bytes are in the internal data segment from 0x20 to 0x2F, therefore also bit addressable. Refer to the compiler manual for details. Then you can do the "v = v << 1" for simple shifts as well as address all bits indivdually, as required. Best regards J. Christoph |
