#115768 - Starting Serial Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi,
Please consider these tutorial notes from the www.8052.com web site. http://www.8052.com/tutser.phtml You can getting the transmit serial working first in to the serial port of a PC runing hyperterminal or other terminal programs... Get your micro to continously Tx out a character and so it can be displayed on the PC terminal software. Once you have this going the baud rate settiings for the SFR are set and you will have more confidence in receiving serial data via the UART. JG |
