If you want to use them one at a time then you can configure a Jumper configurable board which uses jumpers between two modes. If you want to have two serial lines active at same time you must add an external UART as Erik stated above.
There is a solution that I'm working on and that is using a daughter board attachable to my main x52 board using a PIC16F84 or something else as an IO processor (including an extra software emulated UART). |
