I did not comment on that, it may very well be a "example of computer science", but I did not want to spend hours trying to see if that is the case. I've written code like that before, you come back to it 3 months later and try to figure it out! I have no doubt we all have, the difference will be how many times it took for us to learn :) Thei reminds me of this totally false statement "write comments so others can figure out what you are doing" bull...., you are much more likely to need them than anyone else. My first large program was written before I learned the about the above. TWO YEARS later I was asked to add a feature. It took me 10 times longet to fing where to add the feature than actually adding it. Now to the case in point. I would never go to a college and ask for help with a piece of uncommented code in my hands. Erik |
