When the current is too low to clean the contact is is "dry". No arcing. All key boards are dry contact. You need to use switch that are rated for dry contact. Gold plate is usually good. Or, switches with some wipe. Carbon pills do not oxidize I assume that is why they are used. The data sheet shold have the info. BTW: 10ma is still a dry contact. |
