You're better off using 1st principles - in this case the baudrate calculation formulae (hello Andy! :-) - see of course "the Bibles".
It comes down simply to: f1/N1 = f2/N2 where N1 and N2 are the dividers (related to timer reload values). With f1=12MHz and f2=16MHz the smallest are N1=3 adn N2=4 for perfect match; of course N1=3*k and N2=4*k will yield perfect match for all reasonable integer k, too.
