#111166 - sometimes the simple becomes complex Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I was just wondering if "the "program" will be resumed" properly or not, especially if the program was interrupted during a pulse OR some timing critical routine - OR a byte being shifted out. I understand how the ISR works, and have been reading and searching a great deal before I decided to ask any questions
sometimes the simple becomes complex when a tree enter your brain to block the view of the forest. the simple way to answer the above would be to say "visualize an interrupt as a function call/subroutine "kicked in" when the interrupt happens. the bible ch 3 page 16 the interrupt system will generate an LCALL to the appropriate service routine Erik |
