Attach only 1 device to your system, read its ID and add it to the list of devices.
Even if you attach all devices and then determine all their IDs you still have to work out where each device is located. In one of my applications 20 DS1820 probes are monitoring the temperature of 20 wine tanks of 50,000l. I connect 1 probe to the system, 'register' it and allocate it to tank #x etc. Tony |
