Yes, I want to make an asynchronous connection between two 8051 chips, but i don't wanna use the rs232. Is it possible by just fusing the rxd to txd and txd to rxd pins of the 2 chips?????? Andy Peters said:
Yes, it's OK to do this. As stated elsewhere, this is OK only if the communication is over a very short distance; eg 2 chips on the same board. Even between different boards in the same equipment, it's probably best not to just use a straight connection. |
