I am automating the bell system of a chapel using, as the control logic, an 8051. Is there a product that anyone knows of that is capable of sending both time and date information (also updating automatically for daylight savings) to a microcontroller? Either parallel or serial is acceptable. Day of the week is also important, as the system will be programmed to ring beginning at different hours based on the day.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Ben |
