OK, if you have all the time in the world (and how often is that true for a '51 app) the "XBANKING trick" is neat, but a straight piece of code is soooo much faster.
I know with this I am preaching to the choir and the congregartion boos, but nevertheless the above is true. The issue always is "make it easy for the coder or make it easy for the procssor" It should be clear from my post that I am a proponent of the latter (incidentially I am so by necessity) Erik |
