#108900 - start small Responding to: ???'s previous message |

I'm just getting started with C and the 8051.
Then I would seriously suggest to start with the small memory model with the 128 (256) Byte internal SRAM at first. Also please read the C51 primer to be able to write efficient programs in C on the 8051. Only if you really be sure, that you really want always rule above 64kB SRAM you should start e.g. with the Philips ARM LPC series and not with the 8051. Peter |
