#107349 - Questions and answers Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I have few engineers and technicians under my command, if they feel shy to ask technical questions I ask the questions and demand them to prepare an answer for me within a reasonable timeframe. I hate not to answer them but what i noticed is that if I give them the answer on a gold plate and fed spoon them, they wouldn't understand my answer and they will learn nothing, if they spend few days or weeks trying to answer some questions they learn faster and never forget them.
I keep giving them little projects to do so that they face many problems and learn how to solve them. If they ask somebody and he gives them the solution, they have wasted their time and the purpose of doing projects. Hint: learn to use the simulator. It is great for seeing how things work. Mahmood |
