never use a register for a dedicated purpose, use a variable. Sure, it will "work" if you are careful, but you set a trap for errors occurring with every change to the code.
That's one that I hadn't thought of. Using a variable is always going to be preferable to using a register, but my 'C' based mind hadn't grok'd that yet. Thanks again. |
