It seems that the i8279 Keyboard/Display is now obsolete, but i have a hard copy of the Data sheet in a book. I'll try to scan it and send you the scanned papers as soon as possible.

I've used this controller with the i8052 and it's great dealing with K/B & Display. Basicly, You will use the ALE line of the 8052 as a clk I/P to the 8052. Also, you will use the MOVX instruction in order to access the registers of the i8279.
