The ICL7660 and regulator will give good performance, but the power efficiency will be poor as the regulators will be dissipating almost half the power. The 7805 and 7905 are also old devices which waste 3-4mA, which may be more than your actual circuit. Maxim, National and Linear Tech all make micropower regulators worth looking at. |
