hi ,

i have an 80c51bh mcu .
i connected in the standard way
( to 8-bit latch , to eeprom 2816 ) .
80c51bh is CHMOS tech. , so i had pullups on port 0 ( datasheet said so ) . the circuit did not work .
ALE stayed at 1 , port outputs were stuck at 0 .
the reset signal was 0 ( no problems there ) . i had connected a led to one of the ports ( p1.0 ) . it read 1.5v
and stayed there . ( the program was to turn it off & on ) . the psen was stuck at 1 . looks like some oscillator problem .
