i'm using figaro's TGS2602...

Have you had a look into datasheet?

You will find it here:

http://www.figarosensor.com/products/2602pdf.pdf

From the datasheet you can see, that TGS2602 needs a heating voltage of 5V and a resistor Rs, across which the signal voltage can develop. Make Rs at least 470 Ohms high to meet the maximum power consumption requirements. For amplifying you could use TLV271.

Take care, that sensor is susceptible against ambient temperature changes, so you will need to measure ambient temperature too and correlate to measured signal, when high precision is wanted.

Provide a software calibration, where you put the circuit into fresh air at 25°C and 50% humidity and hit a calibration button to tell the micro, that measured signal voltage now comes from non-contaminated air. This calibration is necessary, because intrinsic resistance of sensor shows drastical manufacturing tolerances (10k...100k according to datasheet).
