Because of early morning I missed few things and the confusion arose. Sorry again Andy. It was 3 o'clock when I replied to this msg. It's absolutely slip. Infact I was unable to read your post of 2:45am too. Otherwise I would have not replied (And so the confusion)
And SLIP DO HAPPEN IN LIFE :-) 'A' corresponds to 65 in decimal and HEX value of 65 is 41. Well learning ASCII is something I did during my Diploma and Degree excercises. (Conversion form one code to other) I use ASCII almost everywere(LCD, serial communication etc...) Sorry for the confusion. And yes use 6 lines only (PX.0 to PX.5) to interface with IC so that outputting the data on port pins will directly give the last 6 bits output. (As you said ignore PX.7 and PX.6) So Raghav pls follow Andy's chart given above Regards Sarang |
