"This is the latest information I have on the 8253:
Rev M are coming out of fab now. We need to expedite the assembly and test but we're probably 6 week out at least. Rev L fixes the bug of rev K, but has one bug : During Modes 2 and 3 of the UART operation, the RB8 but is always re-ceived (read) as '1'. There's no workaround for this, but we have fixed this in rev. M" GB |
