#101433 - USB - UART bridge Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I would recommend a USB to UART bridge like those from FTDI or SiLabs. The maximum for an ftdi device is 3Mbps. Can your 24MHz 8051 handle that? If you need even more try ftdi's parallel bridge FT245 which goes upto 1MBps (MegaByte/s). Interfacing is as easy as RS232. Biggest difference is latency. SiLabs devices have 1Mbps max but need less glue logic. |
