I do not have a copy of the Standard, But
MAXIUM shows RS422 as unidirectional 1 TX to upto 10 RX with no transmitter disable. You can have only 1 transmitter per line. To me this means 1 to 1 if you want 2 way communication. B&B electronics shows RS485 with 2 or 4 wires. It may not be to the standard. I only know what I read on the Internet. |
