#100840 - 8051 port problem |
Hi all,
I am a new user to 8051. I tried to write a program that would flash LED connected tp 8051 Ports. the program works fine with the keil simulator. when i tried to see the output in the hardware (MCBx51 board) by connecting a LED (red) to the corresponding port the light is glowing very dim.Even if i set the port value to "zero" the LED is glowing. I used a pull up resistor (220 ohm and 330 ohm) and it didnt work. do i need to conncet anyother ic to the port to make the LED to glow for port value=1 and off for port value=0 ? needing ur ideas and helps t.s |
